East Timor's president begs police and army to work together following unrest.

East Timor's president Jose Ramos Horta has arrived home two months after being shot in an assassination attempt. A military parade welcomed the 58 year old back to Dili. Thousands of people gathered, shouting "Viva President Ramos Horta".

September 2002In May 2002 UN Secretary General Kofi Annan handed control of East Timor to Xanana Gusmao. Three months on, we go back to discover his infant government is experiencing some teething problems.

October 2006During the recent riots in East Timor, 150,000 refugees fled to displacement camps. Five months on, they still can't return home.
