Thursday December 1st, 2005 was World AIDS Day. Hundreds of cities worldwide commemorated those we lost to this terrible epidemic. The statistics are staggering and sobering. Many in our own community do no realize what is happening. Because of the meds and drugs available, the public seems to believe that the situation is getting better. Thursday night, the City of Palm Springs, California along with The Desert AIDS Project held a candle light vigil and tree lighting ceromony. Watch the video
